That statement would also be a lie. How about the truth. Like we did things to protect this country after 9/11 that weren't very nice but at that time felt it was the right thing to do. But then it would be hard to try and prosecute teh Repubs.

Why are we talking about who said what back in 2002 and 2003? Isn't it time to move on? I enjoy bashing a liberal just as much as everybody else does, but at least the media could pick up on something fresh. The subject, and Pelosi, are far from being hot topics.

We are talking about this because the Dumbs er,,, I mean Dems made such an issue of water boarding that not following though will piss off the extreme left wing. At this point the scarecrow is a sacrificial lamb. Notice the president is stone cold silent, and she isn't getting much support from the rest of the party. I doubt this really goes anywhere since she controls many of the committees that have info, and the CIA isn't going to say anything at the risks of loosing funding.
