All I know is that her announcement in front of that lake was a complete trainwreck. It was almost seemed like self parody. It is worth waching the random mix of her babbling about her special needs child, the troops, not doing "politics as usual", a horrible basketball analogy, and her reason for doing what she's doing, which is basically saying "because I'm not going to seek re-election, I'll quit because that is best thing to do for the state". That is some screwy logic. I think it has more to do with cashing in "Ann Coulter" style.
