Good stuff there EP! They had a line out the door in the UDistrict today. The little suckers were the greasiest tacos I've ever had....and that's saying a lot.
Ok since I recommended bad food I'll make two recs for good food.
The taco truck in Wallingford (parking lot of Winchells Doughnuts) and the Thai truck at the Center for wooden boats. Both excellent.
Still wish we had In and Out Burger!

Taco Bell was a godsend when they first opened in California when I was in high school, I believe it was 4 tacos for a dollar back in the late 1960's. That was some good eats for a 16 year old.

when i was in high school you could usually get 2 crunchy tacos for a buck. was always funny to head over there with a couple friends and order 30

One of the reasons I'm so healthy must be because I've eaten at Taco Bell and Taco Time fewer than 6 times in my life. I don't know how this kid from the wrong side of the tracks became so uppity about where and where not to eat.

I grew up on those J&B taco's and still inhale a few to this day.Don't ask why I just do.Good luck,
