Update to my previous post.

This boats well known on the Skagit. It used to belong to Tom Higgins and then John Falavalito and now me. It's looking for a good home and someone that can use it. It's healthy and runs strong!

Hull - Custom built Aluminum - flat bottom and in good shape overall
Floor - honeycomb composite aluminum (Hexcel composites)
Beam - 90" gunwale to gunwale
Length - 18' 3" from the point off the bow (not anchor mount) to outside edge at the motor mount at the stern
Main Motor - Johnson 150 GT, 150HP, late 80's or early 90 not sure
Trolling Motor - Johnson 6HP

About the boat:
2 1/2 years ago I killed the motor. The cause - I pulled water in the fuel system and ran it through the motor. $3,500 later - When I got the motor back with a new short block, I took a close look at the fuel system in the boat. I replaced the entire fuel system from the outlet at the tank to input in the motor. Previously the fuel system ran from one side of the boat to the other side under the floor so the fuel lines sat in fuel and water and eventually weakened and deteriorated. I sucked water/fuel into the motor which obviously didn't do the motor any good. But this was actually a good thing because I rerouted all the fuel lines and the seperator so now nothing will ever sit in fuel and water again. It's all routed in PVC conduit or strapped to the stern with stainless/rubber clamps.

I took the boat out this Saturday to make sure that both motors worked and everything was in good shape. It is.

I now live in Sequim and the boat is here. If you are serious and have cash in hand give me a call and we can put the boat in Cresent Lake, take it out, open it up, and see for yourself that it runs good.

Sale Pending!

Well I'm saddened and at the same time happy. My sled has now gone on to someone else living along the Skagit. Happy that the new owner can use the boat more than I, now that I live where I do. Saddened that I no longer can look forward to the thrill of taking it up and down my favorite water.

Here's to 7 fantastic years together and many great fishing tails!

To the new owner - glad someone so deserving has it - many great memories to come I'm sure.
