My uncle used to raise sheep, when one would kick the bucket he would skin it out and hang the hide on the livestock crossings. Sheep get around the crossings pretty easily. Well, the hide deterred the sheep from the crossing. Now lets just say we replace livestock crossings with Dogfish's gate and replace sheep with tweekers. Get the idea? Just a thought.

Nothing happened last night. The cot and sleeping bag was actually reasonably comfortable.

We'll be in the house in a week or so, so in the mean time I'll camp out in the house. Fridge is hooked up, plus the microwave, so I have all I need.

My driveway alarm arrives tomorrow. IR sensor, sends a signal via GMRS radio, so the 150 yards to the house should be no issue.

I had a friend who lived in Oakville and was fed up with his garbagr being strewn around and the can tipped over. He thought "I'll just cut the end off an extention cord,put one end on the lid and the other on the handle".He wets the ground down around the can and goes to work. Gets home and his new neighbors dog is deader than a rat. There is more to the story but the point being if your saw,drill, or other tool had a really bad short you didn't know about (wink) and someone tried to liberate it---

I've given a lot of thought to electrical options, but a) I'm not well versed in things electric beyond plugging them in; and b) I prefer selective electrocutions and don't want to zap any of the good neighbors, dogs, or pet deer that roam around. Just want to be rid of the neighborhood tweaker and any transient ones that come looking. Which makes the bait and shotgun approach most appealing.

Looks like only Parker and my daughter think there might be legal issues with bagging tweakers. So far the majority seems to feel that bag and possession limits are fairly liberal. Dig that pit Andy! I should have a couple after the holiday weekend.
