Blount was shooting his mouth off before the game about the "ass whoopin'" he and the rest of the pondcrappers were going to hand out to BSU...on TV you can read Hout's lips saying something like "How'd that ass whoopin' work out?"...or something like that.

Blount will be sitting out for a few games at least, I'd wager...young man does pack a pretty good punch, though...

It was a weak punch, surprised the guy but he was right up and laughing it off. He should be done for the season, the pre-season issues, the punch and then trying to go into the stands.

Emotions run pretty high after a game but that being said it was a bit of a cheap shot. I do have to add......in that situation, while running your mouth you best be ready. If you are not, you stand a good chance of getting lit-up. Not the first time I have seen punches thrown after a game and watched a few guys learn that the hard way over the years playing ball.

Give his scholarship to someone else.

Punishment is up to U of O, as the incident occurred after the game. Seriously think the Ucks will bench a star player for more than just a pre-season game or two? Not me, I'm betting he'll only be out pre-season, they'll issue a press release saying something like "he deeply regrets what he did, blah blah, it's been dealt with, blah blah, we're just glad it's been taken care of before conference play starts."

The only smart thing he did was keep his helmet on. Kelly needs to show he has nads and send him packing. After that miserable showing the Ducks have a lot more to worry about.

To say the whole Duck team is classless because of Blount is like saying "everyone on PP are douchebags because of (insert name here)". Agreed that he should be kicked of the team for good. It's unfortunate that one person can do so much damage to a team.

I'd have to disagree with you there, if the whole team and fan base was "classless" there would've been an all out brawl on and off the field. Instead it was one dipschit who couldn't take out what he was dishing.
