It's conceivable.

It's not like UW hasn't unexpectedly knocked off some big-name schools in the past.

But I'm not betting on it.

I want to know who the knucklehead in the UW AD was that thought it would be a good idea to open against the likes of LSU. I'd have scheduled a cupcake..........like whoever ASU is playing.......and get the team out of the gates on the right foot.

This is a great time of year.

20-17 LSU. They aren't a powerhouse, run up the score team so the Huskies as long as they don't throw up all over themselves should be able to hang around.

I dont think the cougars are you going to win, my only hope is that they dont lose as bad as the huskies do.

Found out ASU had a cancellation for the opener and with no time to reschedule a decent opponent on came ID State for a beat down. We always put one cupcake and one brutal game out of conference so this year is a bit of a fluke...Go Devils!

PS Anyone see the swine flu outbreak at WSU? Like 2000+ swine fluers running round campus, if they all were not related in Pullman things like that would never happen.

Well...that was a quick turnaround

Huskies and the Coogs have both improved since last season. Cougars have a ways to go though. They did run the ball pretty well. Not as painful to watch as last season at least. The Stanford frosh QB is gonna be a good one.

Cougar safety just crushed Stanfords WR today. I felt that hit here at the house.

Dawgs are looking alot like the Cougs today, drive the field and cough it up on the 1.

Ugh.

Put an end to the mistakes, and UW can win this game.

Hopefully the D can step up here and get the ball back.

We'd be up by two touchdowns without mistakes...we're beating them up and down the field.

Impressive so far, damn I miss the Ty buzz already

Too many penalties for the Dawgs tonight. They are much better than last year. The effort and the hitting is far superior to the last few years too. Dawgs don't have the DB's to deal with LSU's WR's though.

I hate to say it this way...but even if we don't pull it out, we definitely have stepped up our game and don't have to be embarrassed tonight...but there's lots of time left!

I would agree with that Tod. Its only week 1 but: Oregon obviously isn't too good. USC beat up on a San Jose team with a frosh at QB so who knows. OSU played Portland St and it was hard to really get a feel for them. Stanford looks OK. I didn't see Cal and ASU played a cream puff as well. Bottom line is the the Pac 10 is about as open as it has been in quite a while.

Dawgs are WAY better than many people, me included:) expected. They have a legit shot at 6 wins as they should beat WSU, Stanford, UCLA, OR and probably split w Or St and AZ but ASU, USC and Cal are still the cream of the Pac...cheers

fun game for sure, i just got home and have to go to work at 8 but it was worth it LSU has some classy fans and husky stad was rockin with 69,000 fans
