Its raining about as hard as i have ever seen it in WA, reminds me of Squalls in AK and Monsoons in AZ.
Lake Margaret is getting pounded and kinda trumps my plans of somewhat fishing tommorow.... If only i could take a week off of college next week.... OP, Hump and the Snohomish sounds about right.
At least there will be fresh fish pouring into tidewater and the river next week, Tuesday seems to be the game on day.
Go get em!

Looking at the Snohomish and Skykomish hydrograph predictions from NOAA, I was thinking tomorrow might not be too bad a fishing day.

I agree that MPM maybe a little optimistic!

In the last 24 hours here in Marysville we have had just over 3 inches of rain. Made for a soggy duck hunt this AM.

As I we crossed the Stillaguamish mid-morning it looked to be blown.

Yeah, maybe wishful thinking, but I'll keep my eyes on the hydrographs today. If anyone's got any eyewitness reports on how the Sky or Snoho looks, I'd be interested.

I just put the top up on my new Alumaweld. Its not a ton of work, but it takes a bit of time. What do you guys think about towing it with the top up? I'm going out Monday and they predict rain. I see guys doing it all the time, but a guy I respect said it's not too good for the top.

On Second thought after seeing the river im thinking tommorow might not be such a bad day to hit the Sky.
It looks like its already dropping and tommorow in the AM should be between 2500-3000 cfs, which is my preferred flow anyways.... There isn't to much debris/leaves so it could be worthwhile.

The hydrograph prediction says the sky is supposed to drop, with the rain we had in Sultan today I think it is going to get a lot higher then predicted

Looks like it's already started to drop a little since earlier today. Maybe tomorrow won't be so bad after all.

back on the rise it goes...once things are saturated...it comes down quick...something else to keep in mind is what is happening in the roots of the river system...not what's happening in Everett, Seattle, etc.

The Sky was really muddy this morning at Ben Howard and the Reformatory. No fish showing.
