"I love the 'govt' run' thing btw, as if any investor in any company is 'running' it."

Most welfare types do. I prefer to buy my own groceries and insurance. But some people have difficulty making choices and are better left with the gov. doing it for them.

It beat the hell out of mowing lawns. I hire my yard work out. That way I can fish every day.

Huh, well I guess there is some money to be made in maintenance if even the meter maids hire it done.

Had the crane on site today, moving some 10' basalt columns around, then got the carpenter and concrete guys lined out for the next week, and met with the designer, so all in all a good half day of work was put in today...................Emptied the truck, helped out my folks for a bit, wrote some estimates, tied some bugs up for next week..............even deposited a check at the bank.

Not a lawnmower in sight, so once again, yer wrong about things, no surprise though..............right Chuck ?

grin

Geez, did you misinterpret something I said? Did I say anything about you mowing lawns? I don't think so.

You mowing lawns is about as ridiculous as me reading meters. Could there be a connection there? Wrong ? Maybe!! laugh

I'm glad the people on the right are proud of the previous president and those on the left seem to love our current president. Makes me wonder what all the back and forth is about. Pretty shitty representation from both parties.

Obama's luster....?

1) He can speak from a teleprompter.
2) He's not Bush.

Wow, that just gives me a thrill running up my leg.

How about an estimated 1.4 trillion dollar deficit? That is real change.

I always find this to be a strange thing that anti-Obamas bring up. Obviously, the statement implies that he can't speak without one. Whether you "like" him or not, that seems like an entirely inaccurate accessment. That seems about as accurate as saying that GWB was a good speaker but just couldn't read from the teleprompter.

I'm not anti-Obama. I'm pretty much anti- huge government. They do nothing for us. It's only about getting re-elected. Your answer is pretty simplistic. Tell me how Shrub would have been K-bobbed over this one. Hell, he couldn't speak with or without one. Cheney could have done us a big favor by pointing his shotgun over his other shoulder and then at himself....
