Twilight-themed restaurant planned for Forks
A new restaurant planned to open next year in Forks will be called Volterra after a city in the Twilight vampire novels, which are set in Forks.

Hopefully the food will be decent...I've yet found anything there that is worth a FCK.

I agree, the Mexican place is pretty good. Not sure about the food the next day though, I was sick as a dog racing to the toilet ever 1/2 hour with the trots. Not sure what is was, a bug, or as Brad called it, "a twilight tomato"...

The Mexican place was 1/2 way decent...for Anglo-style TexMex. The people were nice. Let me park in their lot after hours.
The Forks coffee shop has one of the best breakfasts on the Peninsula. The coffee could use a lot of work though. Maybe they should put in new grounds before they start a new pot. I was under the impression that you shouldn't be able to read a newspaper through your coffee.

Regardless, my daughter has already been to Forks a few times and she already knows how much it sucks.

Breakfast is ten times better across the street at the Inn Place...though it's not as cool to go there, and I find myself sitting and waiting a long time with dozens of other folks to eat a marginal and overpriced breakfast at the Coffee Shop...why do we all do that?

Fish on...

The Inn Place is the almost empty one on the west side of the street...and has way better breakfast than does the Coffee Shop, the one right next to the Forks Motel...leastways, that's my thinking on it.

Fish on...

Is that the one on the almost Vacant Block?

That's the one I wandered into the morning after SolFly. I must've smelled like a distillery and looked like a vagrant because they put me in a corner away from everyone else and handed me my check WITH my meal. Then again I might have still been drunk from the night before. I couldn't taste anything that morning so I have no idea how the food was.

Yeah, I know...it's weird...'specially 'cuz I don't fish with guides, yet there we all are sitting there waiting to be waited on all morning, anyway...

Not only are the breakfasts MUCH better at the Inn Place... their box lunches kick the livin' [censored] outta the Forks Coffee Shop's too.

The logger burgers at Sully's are a regular for me.

And the owner of the Inn Place seems like a cool guy. He has actually re-opened the kitchen after closing for us a few times in the past!

STRIKE ZONE

P.S. This past summer I asked my 12-13 year old daughter if she wanted to take a friend of her choice and head up to the big town of "FORK'S" to check out Edward and hang out for the day and stay over and let them get there own room, while Mom and Dad got there private room. She said no and didn't show any interest in it,HHmmmmm.I was a little surprised,we ended up @ the family property in Monte riding quads and being hillbillies for the weekend and her friend loved it.

Just look for the place with the painted saw blades on the wall. Alot less crowded and good breakfast too. It's always made a turd for me.

I heard something about a hole-in-the-wall Mexican place located behind the old Vagabond (...I think). Anyone know about that?

the inn place has a good skillet hard to beat the sol duc scramble tho at the coffe shop. i have never had to waite to get my order taken there either. rick that owns the inn place is a cool guy and has a nice bar just down the street. never had the inn place to go lunch. wife likes the inn place better although i think shes biased since she used to work there.

Your mouth seems to do that just fine for you.

I liked the mexican place. I would have liked those big drinks a few years back too .
