It's that time of year again where talk is cheap but actions speak louder than words! Time to fire up the spud guns and spool up those new Snoopy Rods!

SRC 2009!

Team Piscatorial Pursuits is going to defend their SRC 2008 Title!

Think you ladies can muster up the huevos to compete against the likes of Carlos Da La Maniac and what he brings to table?

Probably not, but we'll have fun toying with you all again this year!

The Trophy will stay at Gordies again for another year! As our beloved JK once said, "Book it, Girls!"

Friday, December 4th.

I'm hoping Kev will get some emails, including the official "invite" out soon.......

If you were in it last year, you are automatically invited back this year - unless "the Rulez Committee" thinks you are a real asshat and are told as much. wink

If you were not in it last year, you gotta get invited by the committee.

Got some new meat this year - JTard and Oregon's infamous David Johnson. Oh yeah, and Rog&Sue (hopefully). Not too sure why Sue would want to subject herself to that kind of abuse! wink

PS. Motors and pumps of *all* kinds are banned this year. The leaf blower won't make an appearance this year. rofl

That's the beauty of being on the rules commitee.... you can get your last licks in before you bend change the rules and releive yourself of any fear of revenge similar to the original act.

rofl

I acknowledge, that was a good stunt last year, but be warned, some very creative minds have been planning for nearly 330 days.......

Let the games begin!

Since I don't even fish in the damn thing, anyway...too busy with other activities while on the water smile...I have no fear of being disqualified...it's worth the price of entry just to be there, and then rules be damned!

There's a certain team that is owed a little pay back smile

Fish on...

A few years ago when I tried swinging a spoon with my SpongeBob rod all ended up with was four lost spoons in about ten casts...kinda hard to keep it fluttering with a 20 inch fishing rod smile

Carl's big fish last year was a freakish thing.

Team "2 Hippies and a Cop" will be without the fuzz this year but have a replacement that should be able to match ColeyG's performance from last year.

Without a metal boat this year, we'll be relying on agility and cunning. In other words, we're screwed. We will have a keg though... smile

Then we would have to reveal how bad we really suck!

Sounds like a good time but don't you have to be invited first?

Hey, I know someone who has an awesome 16' Thor that would sell it to you for a steal of a deal. wink

Oh yeah, and I can't give away too many secrets, but be warned that "Change" is coming to Team Piscatorial Pursuits!

Official email sent. If you didn't get it and have participated in the SRC in the past, send me a PM so I can update my email list.

You must be invited, vouched for by a SRC particpant and approved by myself, Rob, Bob, Parker or Pat. Or simply take a Pat Graham Heart Punch to the chest and be able to stand for 30 seconds afterwards.

Kev

I'd hate to lose my rep as the World's Best Boat Ho. I'm comfortable with that. thumbs

Besides, I'm not rowing crap with this chicken wing. Oh yeah, and I *like* to catch fish during the SRC. laugh

The real PT starts on the 16th of this month.

Just looking forward to the day without pain in my shoulder.

Danny, if you don't know what the hair spray is for...well, let's just put it this way, you'll find out quickly, and you'll have some in your boat the following year.

I still feel the effects of that punch and I was only standing behind the receiver. Sadly "Team Money Shot" will be taking this year off. I will definitely save vacation time for next year's festivities.

Too late. Snagged your quote. Welcome aboard, Team Target!

I recommend a hard hat and a drysuit.
