I smoked a turkey Thursday, Coho Friday, and baby backs, half a ham and baked beans yesterday; all with alder and/or maple pucks and all with good results. The alder doesn’t seem to smoke as long but it puts out a lot of smoke so the flavor seems fine. I’ve used the pucks four times now and will continue to use them. They are convenient, consistent and easy to store.

No problem Brent..Thank you guys for the quick service and what initially appears to be a great product to run in my Bradley!! Ran my smoker for all 4 days of T-giving vacation and I was 100% satisfied with your product..My fish had some issues of its own but nothing to due with your wood. The Alder was very pleasant and mild and perfect for the fish and I ran the Maple on my chickens and on the salami chubs I smoked up yesterday. I did have issues on Thursday due to the pucks not fitting the burn plate on the Bradley due to the guide rails that keep the bradley pucks aligned but that was fixed Friday morning with my air grinder and a 1/16" cutoff wheel. I simply cut away the puck guides on the burner plate of the bradley and your full pucks fit nice and flat on the burner now..I averaged anywhere from 1 hr. to 1.75 hrs of good smoke depending on the thickness of the puck..Much better price point than the Bradley pucks and much higher burn rate..Its a win/win for all....Thanks, RJ in Montana Thank you slowleak and fp for trying out the product and thank you very much for the product reviews!
