You know, I've been thinking. The high school in the town where I live are a lot like the Coogs, but they get to at least play the school for the deaf every year, and usually put up a W. Can the coogs get a pre-season game set up with a similar school, and maybe put 2 W's up on the board next year?

the problem with being a husky fan is that if you do not win 8 games it is a bad season but a cougar fan lives with what we get heck we won the last 2 out of three. oh well wait tell next year

There actually was a lot of hitting from both squads. Lopina (?) threw a nice block on the second trick play to pancake a Dawg.

Nice win today by the Dawgs! However, both squads have a lot of work to do before they are ready to climb the Pac 10 ladder.

Man...the Boogers defense really, really sucks...and their offense isn't much better.

For the year, they were outscored 462-144...that's a game average of 38.5pts. against to 12 pts. for...painful.

The Huskies might not be very good, but man, they are a lot better than that!

P.S. Rough day to be a Cooger QB yesterday...those guys were getting battered, I thought for a while there that they'd need to bring one of the cheerleaders out to take snaps.

Wulff does his offense a huge disservice with the way they send in plays. When your offense sucks, the least they could do is give their QB more the 4 secs on the play clock to get the play off. The coog offense will never get into rhythm if they continue that.

Seriously, it was an interesting game to watch, but not really a good game. It took the Coogs to make the Dawgs look good. But even a casual fan like me could see that the Dawgs were succeeding only because they were playing the equivalent of a 3-A high school team. Afterward I tuned in the Stanford - Notre Dame game and watched a bit of good football.

My Huskies have a frickin' long dang ways to go. I was dreaming about the '91 team again, . . . sigh . . .
