I'm going to invite myself again this year and decline my own invitation. Basing my position on distance from California. I will do the same thing again next year. Internal conversations are not always brief.

How does a Newbie Team (Team Sickpup) get an Invitation to the 09 SRC?

Looks like I'll step up to the plate and volunteer to "interview" her.

It's a tough job screen out the riff-raff out of the SRC, but someone's gotta do it!

Thanks for the hint. Lids might be a good idea. Thats something I learned from last year. That, and (to all SRC participants) don't fish near CanyonMan. That way your money eggos don't get spilled all over the wet floor of your drifter. Oh, and if you fish near 4salt, distract him with catch code questions, and he won't get a chance to net your fish.

Team no-name might have a fourth member this year.., and a second tater gun...

I still can't figure out how you guys dodged all those other net last year to get your fish at the hatchery.

They didn't...don't you remember me pushing them through the tail out into the rapid...they didn't land that fish until they got to the mouth of the Calawah.....roflmao

True no more than just that third one. But we did get those three without having to net others.

This year, that might be our goal. To net someone elses (ahem, Canyonman's) fish. I have access to a couple of charter boat type 8' beckman handles! Maybe we'll just forget the snoopy rods and follow you around with a pair of big long nets along with a pair of tater guns?

That thing would keep just about an DB away. Somehow I think the retaliation my be a little more severe that you way want to deal with though.
