Superbly designed raft which is just the right size to maneuver exceptionally well, yet can handle all rivers and conditions. Purchased in 1998, it has been used 3 times on the Blackfoot, 2 on the Missouri and is thus in fantastic condition.
Dimensions - Length 12 ft.; width 56
Oars Carlisle STM II, 86, break down into 2 sections. Price tag is still visible on one of the oars to give a feel for how little the craft has been used.
Frame Cascade Fabrication (Recretec) with folding, swivel rowing seat and passenger seat platform. Stern fishing seat can easily be added.
The raft has been in a heated storage room in my house and has been kept inflated to shape as per recommendations. It is very similar to an Aire Puma although eminently better looking and with more tactile feel on the sticks. For an individual who is seeking a highly versatile fishing or whitewater raft, this is a great opportunity to get a nearly new inflatable at a price that cannot be beat. Indeed, even a simple Outcast PAC 900 is moving for $1,200 and I can assure you they are childs play compared to this thing. I know because it became essential to purchase something I can readily use in the sedans we have.
Have a look at various sites and youll notice that similar rafts with perhaps much more extensive use (and most certainly abuse) are moving at 13, 14, even $1500. Ive put together an extensively cross-referenced list and feel that $1,250 would be a steal for this superior-condition raft based on similar offerings in the same class and quality. I look forward to talking with many of you out there who are looking for a craft that has far more possible applications that a drift boat especially during those summer months when you simply want to wind it out on a nice stretch of whitewater with friends/family.
Best regards,
D
