SRC Folks - put your stories, photos, and movies up on this thread so we don't all have to go searching three different SRC threads to find them.

Congratulations to Team Screw the Rules and Phil for the Big Fish(s) in this years SRC!

Here's Phil showing off that almost-13 pound brute!

Team Piscatorial Pursuits was awarded Best Team Average with their five fish:

Actually, Team PP was official renamed to Team "How Long Have They Been Fishing" as the day was a comedy of errors and missed opportunities for the Team.

Last years SRC Rookie of the Year, Carl, poses with ChiaObama after a SUCCESSFUL landing of a fish!

Not much other to report other than that. We never did get in to any epic battles, etc. Just kinda did our own thing.

Great turn out this year and it seems that a good number of fish were taken by the SRC participants. Gordy ended up with a cook 1K or so, and that was awesome! thumbs

Good job to all the participants and it was fun to meet and see some new and old faces. A very cool bunch of folks! thumbs

Hopefully others will contribute to this thread.....

Just a few from the chaos known as SRC. Feel free to host your videos over on the Outdoor Line. Talked about the SRC on ESPN this morning...a proud moment. LOL!

Were-woofs, vampires...and now gorillas!

Boundary Bay...Breakfast of Fisherman!

Big Sticks new bee-auch and Naomi wondering what in the #### she's doing here.

Phil Maraude with the metal-toad SRC winner

The Legend makes an appearance at the weigh in. After 23 Cosmos...ahem COSMO'S...the night before he was a little under the moss for the SRC.

I know what you're thinking...did I fire 6 shots or only 5?

The PP crew rally's around the inspiration of Chi-Bama to take the combined total weight kitty.

Where's Dave Chapelle when you need him?

It was pretty funny to walk into the bar and see stam holding his cosmo martini glass high in the air with pride!
An absolutely great day of "fishing". I think I was laughing from the time we launched until I fell asleep last night. I think I slept through the hang over last night, and woke up at 4:30 and drove home with my brother. We listened to Robbos show on the way home, and got a good chuckle over his absence... smile I was going to call in and vouch that he really was under the weather, but my phone was dead. Thanks to all involved for the great time!

You know...it wasn't 30 seconds after putting the gorilla head on I hit that fish. Nothing like fighting a fish on a snoopy rod, while being chased down by two other boats, while trying to see out eye holes in a gorilla mask...

Hey Big O, remember when JD said, "no dude, your rod is fine, I only took like 10' of line off it last night..." Well...this is 'fine' and 10'...

i think i was calmer then Rogue and Skyguy! they were freakin out with excitement!
we thought it was a late buck salmon, a lot of head shakes and just sitting behind a big rock in real deep water... when we saw it was a steelhead it was game on and let the freaking out begin!
have had some big native steelhead do that but cant recall a hatchery fish pullin that move for that long.

Since the guy who took my seat caught the biggest fish of the day...I might be looking for a new team myself smile

I know I wouldn't want me back.

Fish on...
