I have my practically brand new 09 model Shimano Stella 2500FD for sale. The reel is about two months old. It is the nicest and smoothest reel you can buy. Included is the reciept, box, owners manual, parts diagram, neoprene pouch, and spare spool. The extra spool was purchased additionally when I bought the reel and not included like with stradic models. The reel has very little use and no scratches. This reel might as well be new. Hurry and get it before Christmas. Would make an excellent gift from Santa. New price $450. Save yourself a lot of money buying this perfect reel.

I'm guessing that those that can afford a Stella are getting it a guide discount. I know you don't want to hear that, but I'll be shocked if it sells at this price. Mark it down to about 45% off of retail and I bet it sells....

That is disappointing to hear. I'm not sure I could justify selling it for almost half of what I paid when it really hasn't been used. I will just ebay it or keep it if I can't get something reasonable for it.

I have seen this reel and can vouch for him when he sais that its practically new. people who sell fishing poles usually only knock off a fourth or maybe a third of the price. I don't understand why a reel would be any different. hey jun give me a call tonight. My phone is broke and I don't have your number anymore.

Your best bet is probably going to be ebay.
Those here that want a Stella either already have one, or can get one at a discounted price. Except for Sol Duc.
Not too sure why he'd pass up on Sol Duc's offer, though. $350 for a used Stella is a good deal on both sides of the coin....

You're right.
If people are willing to buy a used Stella at close to retail price, be my guest.
PS. They are $400 *new* on ebay.

I bought mine new on ebay less than two months ago. At the time it was the cheapest you can buy. Believe me I shopped around. I would like to see a new one sell for $400 on ebay and I'd re consider my asking price. I'm also including the extra spool which was almost another $100. The extra spool is not just a cheap extra that was included with the reel like stradics include. I would be surprised if someone could buy this package at a better price than what I'm asking.

Thanks for the offer I'll have to pass salmoncatcher
I will just keep the reel if I can't get what I'm asking. I'm ok with that.

Not bad for being Corey's shill, huh? $22 towards Corey's "Flowers" Fund and my entertainment value was through the roof!

I bought both my my Stella's for $250 each, new in box through the guide discount program... But don't know they offer than anymore. $350-400 would be a sweet buy on a stella as most go for $450+ on ebay New... Needless to say one of them is still in the Lewis River from a couple years ago. Was a tough loss, they're AMAZING reels!! Keith
