2,500 rounds worth.... with a nail gun. 38'x16' deck is done except for the railing and the benches. Sure loved the 56 degrees and working in a t-shirt today!

Wondering if you factored in the curvature of the earth prior to constructing Wood decks are great and I love em. Make sure you put a coat of sealer in it REGULARLY!!!!!

It's amazing how much work one guy can get done in a day with just a air-powered nailer and a miter saw.
Nice work Andy.

That would of taken me at least half the summer and about 400 beers to get it half done then I would of said to hell with it and gone to Snow Creek. Your post are most impressive and Cedar looks great (the Pup pic 2)

Hitachi NR83A2?
Nice work! Super bowl BBQ? I used this. Did the siding on the house, shop, the front porch/deck and the rear covered porch as well. Handy tool, only about 15,000 rounds through it. Mine has a bit more rash on it from use, but it works like a champ. Unfortunately I didn't wire the deck for cable, but there is one on the wall in the kitchen so punching one through should be an issue, and there is power right there. Might have to put up a safety railing for the super bowl, or have people sign a waiver..... Cedar had a great time yesterday. Found a spot where he could watch me, and take a nap at the same time. I did have a few beers after I was done with the saw.

That's an awesome deck! I like that material, if I ever build another deck, it would be out of that. I did the one on my current home out of that plastic stuff, which I screwed down by hand, and that sucked really bad. Would have loved to cruise along with a gun and some ring shanks.
I tiled my first tub splash this weekend. My wife didn't threaten to hire someone for the next shower, so I guess it looks okay. It is hard to tell when you are in the middle of it.

Great Job Dogfish! Keep the pic.'s coming. It has been an inspiration to me to get my 22' x 72' (overall) deck replaced. What are you using for handrails? I will start the tear-off and replacement this spring. I'm looking at composite materials.
