Actually, since the company i worked for closed my shop and another one of it's stores, I've been thinking of relocating to, you guessed it, husky land! My wife has a specialty type government job that would make relocation a snap for her, so i would be free to look for work in between fishing trips! We've actually considered woodinville due to it's proximity to seattle, red hook brewery thumbs, the sammamish runs through town, the sky and snoho are really close, etc. etc. etc. Now i just need the seahawks to offer a job as coach of the seagals and life will be complete rofl

some of the board members used to post pictures of him in kinky leather outfits wink - i won't have to wear one of those will I? if it's required, i know you can get one from the castro for me! rofl since you made it back alive from three rivers, you must not have told them where you reside grin it's nice to know your opinion of the area!

I voted for Ron Paul, but Dogfish lives in McCleary, so that won't get me far in woodinville grin

thats great news Spike! woodinville a great place to transfer to. don't forget the Ste. Michele winery across the street from Redhook. you will love the area alot! if i'm not mistaken skyguy is in that immediate area too. not to mention mr. rotten chum the guide. for the price you sell your place for you could fish high on the hog for sometime. the great thing about moving into any part of the greater seattle area is they always have room for one more from Cali!

So Mike might be in the neighborhood pretty soon, huh?

Where's that lighter...............?

I don't think you'd regret the move, Mike.

Kitsap has lots of government jobs with the Navy here. Closer to the OP, cheaper real estate and fewer cars. Silver City brews good beer as does Hood Canal Brewery. Good place for kids.
Not the entertainment available that Seattle area has by far but I'm glad I relocated here from Seattle side. Of course, I'm a codger and a late night for me is if I'm out past 9:00.

Dammit Hank..........why are you always putting out my fire, so to speak?

Aren't you thinking about relocating up here as well? Let me know well in advance, and I'll pick up a few things to give you a warm welcome.

as long as richard simmons stays in frisco area we're fine. Spike there should be several cabinate shops in the woodinville area too.

There's a buildable lot two doors down...........my wife will sell it to you, and with the build-to-suit option, you can put in a moat so I can't set fire to the place.

smile

It's a nice neighborhood, not to far out from Olympia, but far enough out to have deer in the back yard, and elk standing in the cul-de-sac some mornings.

You do realize that you'd almost be obliged to become a Husky and Seahawks fan, right?

C'mon, Hank.........those two teams are going places.

With Carroll and Sarkisian at the helms, and Joe Montana's kid Nick coming in to lead UW, it's not going to be long before both teams are back from oblivion.

On the lot size, I'm sure if you expressed your safety concerns to the developer, he'd let you build way back into the resource parcel.........just out of flaming arrow or catapult range.

i'm not so certain that Spike or Hank could handle the 6 months of rain. sometime the Calis' go friggen nuts when the sun is never seen. they have never seen a river at high levels. have NEVER witnessed a "blown" river. have never put 4X4 into 4 wheel drive.

Hmmm, wouldn't that get PETA all up in arms having goats do the work of illegal immigrants? that's how the wealthy do it down here, maybe that would be another nice thing about washington state - nevet letting people do a goat's job. wink

Brewer! don't make me unleash my inner hick on you! did more 4 wheelin, huntin and fishin than all the goat roapers put together from my little town - maybe you had the type where you grew up, can of chew in the back pocket of the wrangler jeans and a Gilley's Bar bumper sticker on their 4x4 that always sat in the driveway or the grocery store parking lot out by the road so everyone could see their lift kit.

hitting the manischewitz early this morning aren't you? wink i was never a "cowboy" as i described those yahoo wanna-be goat-roapers. i despise the stereotypical californian as much as any of you - probably more since i've been dealing with them my whole life. try living in close proximity to marin county where BMW stands for basic marin wheels and you'll really know the meaning of the word revulsion.
