saw the Dead in 94 at portland meadows, chuck berry opened. freaking outstanding concert! downside, 2 day "hangover" and 6 month fear of contracting an std. it all worked out though.. beer

2nd: neil young, pearl jam, and blind melon. same place and same year

More like my best string of concerts...I wasn't allowed to go to shows until I turned 12...my birthday is in April. By the end of June I had seen Iron Maiden (Twisted Sister opened smile ), Judas Priest (Great White opened, who managed to suck even worse then than they did after they made it "big"), Ozzy Osbourne...and then Iron Maiden again.

Later that summer I hit up AC/DC, George Thorogood, Steve Miller, and Fleetwood Mac. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Journey and find out that they were pretty damn good live, since I wasn't a fan at the time. I saw Queensryche, who I thought sucked...still do.

It was a good summer...I fondly remember the days when Seattle was *the* place for heavy metal bands to visit.

Fish on...

Todd

Radiohead. I saw them a few times, and have always been blown away. The time after the Kid A release I saw them at WRAmpitheatre, and they killed it. Tom (or is it Thom) Yorke can really blow.

Rage Against the Machine at the gorge. It would have been an even better show if Wu Tang hadn't of dropped out of the tour, but The Roots were a perfect substitute.

Petty was pretty good years ago. Pearl Jam was tough to beat though. Always wanted to see metalica but never go the chance.

I saw Charlie Daniels once too. He was very entertaining. I was on the floor and my date had a hard time seeing around all the cowboy hats.

Back in like I don't know maybe 91', I saw Pantera during their cowboys shows. They opened for Skid Row. Then I saw them again when Sepultura opened for them during the Vulgar shows.

Saw Nirvana and Pearl Jam so many times I couldn't count.

Now that I think of it, the coolest show ever was a small one. Mark Lanegan solo with Duff Mackagen, Dave Dederer, Ben Shepard, Barret Martin, and the guitarist from Dinosaur Jr.!!!! That was a great show.

Pearl Jam followed by Neal Young at the Gorge.

A riot broke out and the Gorge lost their insurance for a couple of years until they completed the current configuration.

It was fall with a rising full moon as NY played, wait for it.......................

Harvest Moon!

I've been to a lot of concerts and that what was by far and away the best!

I was at that show. That was awsome, the quincy police and the county sherrif were trying their damnedest to get it cancelled.

Been to a lot of concerts and can't really pick a best. I really enjoyed the festival events like lolapalooza, ozzfest, warped tour.

Some memerable concerts

Ozzfest 20?? primus, deftones, system of a down, slayer, rob zombie, original black sabath line up

Warped tour 20?? Green day, mighty mighty boss tones, other bands

Pledge of allegance tour in the Tacoma dome 20?? System of a down, ramstein, slip knot

Lolapalooza 199? snoop dog and tool

Gorge show 1996 eye hate god, white zombie, pantera
