So who do you think will win the Super bowl ? I think I will go with Peyton Manning and the Colts, Manning seems to be in a zone. The Colts defense has the edge and the experience. I just hope for a close game. Colts 31 Saints 24

I'll be rooting for Nawlins, but if I had to put money on it, i'd be betting on the Colts.

Colts, If the Saints do win you will be seeing Drew Brees in stained glass windows at all the Louisianna churches. He will be truly sainted.

Indy and not as close as we would hope. I put them up by 14 in the end. More if Saints get down early and start taking big chances.

Indy on a last minute drive...classic Peyton Manning. I'm more concerned about the side stories....how many times we have to see the Kardashian clan preening for the cameras. The over/under on shots of Archie Manning? How many times the name Brett Favre finds it's way into the broadcast. Whether Roger Daltrey makes it through the entire performance and how many high notes he doesn't attempt?

Back in September I said I would be watching the superbowl on my new big screen hanging over my new mantle, in my newly renovated house.
I predict I will lose this year.
Carpet is getting installed the week after the SB, and that is about the last thing.

Colts all the way. Colts have the whole package, Aints only have a high scoring offense. I think Brees will find out how Favre felt. Colts D Line is quick and tough.

You can talk matchups...O-line, D-line, backfield, corners, blah, blah. In the end this is classic Master vs. Apprentice. The Master will win. This apprentice may come close.

Congrats to Mark Brunell for getting a SB win... It's just a shame that circumstances kept Ryan Leaf & Billy Joe Hobert from reaching the SB. Hey Chuck, there's a whole lot of PAC 10 Basketball left....Savior every minute. Mf

"On third and long we knew they liked to stack their receivers and run one in on a slant. I jumped the route and it was there".
"We had some defensive schemes that we didn't reveal until the third quarter, that way they has less time to adjust."
The Saints did an awesome job in prep and on the field.

Far from a great superbowl, but a nice win for the saints. The commentators sucked ass,Nantz & Simms were as much fun as a box of rock's.the who sucked, glad they were my first concert back in "82" and the commercials kinda sucked ass also. They need to turn some chit around to keep the viewers comin back.Unless my "HAWKS" are in next year which we all know there not gonna be.I'm gonna go fish for winter metal and blow off the game.Good luck, STRIKE ZONE I like Simms because he's been there and knows what it's like when the pocket collapses. Nantz, OTH, is a wiener. It started with me when he wouldn't eat the salted, dried herring in Lillehammer ('94 Olympics) I remember thinking, "What a sissy this guy is" Funny how you can remember stuff like that.

Another point I'd like to make before Rocket hijacks this thread is that superior coaching was also a big factor.
The Saints played the 1st half like lazy chumps, running long bomb pass plays when they should've ran, and ran when they should've picked pass plays and just generally fvcking up left & right--just like like the Bush Administration.
But the 2nd half, they sorta 'trojan horsed' the Colts and 180'd their tactics, switching to shorter shotgun passes, leaving all the safeties with their dicks in hand and 'woke up' the Saints linemen, which had been playing possum in the 1st half.
Again, I reiterate, the true MVP was the Saints kicker who kept them in the game through round 1, scored 1/2 the total Saints points single-handedly, and with AMAZING FG's, kept the score even until The Saints sprung it on The Dolts.
