Pretty amazing that we are now 15 months past the election where she was a V.P. nominee and some people are still so threatened by her that they continue to level personal attacks against her because they don't agree with her opinions/politics. Actually, I don't think amazing is the right word ...... pathetic might be a bit more appropriate.

She's in the "system" now, making money doing speaking engagements, books, appearances etc.
It is OK and normal to comment on these public activities, statements.
I think many of the "personal attacks" are perceived and used to create controversy on both sides.

Language is a tool just like a hammer, saw, or a gun.

It is the person using the tool that makes it good or bad.

People get so caught up in the busy bee efforts to make themselves feel like they are doing something to enhance dignity they go for the low hanging fruit like the tools used as opposed to the person as intent is a finger no one has the balls to point.

Usually vote R, but not always. Just don't think she is the best person for the job. There has to be a better choice out there than a quitter. She would get my vote for head librarian, though.
