An illegal alien in Polk County Florida who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop ended up 'executing' the deputy who stopped him.
The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed.
A state wide manhunt ensued.

The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area and as soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him.
They hit the guy 68 times.

Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor undocumented immigrant 68 times.

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had."
Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what !


The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes .
When asked by a reporter how that could be since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied "when you are shot 68 times, you are naturally gonna die."

KK, in no way does that say anything for certain about illegal immigrants, since your numbers are refering to immigrants in general. Also how many illegal aliens arrested are simply deported? This too, could lower the rates.

I have no idea about the real rates, only that what you posted does not prove anything. My gut feeling is that when we are talking about illegals from the south we can draw some general conclusons. Simply by looking at what drives them to come here, you can assume certian things are true. If they were highly educated, they would most likely not have the same drive to come here illegally. If they came from wealthy back grounds they most likely would not be here. If they had established homes with children they would be less likely to come across the border. If they were adverse to risk taking, they most likely would not be here.
So, if you take any population of young, lower educated and from lower income families, take them away from their established roots and put them in an enviroment with other young men like them, make rules that make it had to get established long term, and give them more money then they are used to, isn't it reasonable to assume that they would be at higher risk to commit certian crimes than the general population of similar aged men. While they may be lower in drug or theft crimes, they most likely would be higher in sex crimes, DWI, and crimes of passion.
I have no statistics to back it up, but common sense tells me it most likely is true of all young men, regardless of race or ethinicty.

The mere thought of violently killing "illegal aliens" ( read: brown people who are different than us) sure does excite the hatred that is inherent in conservatives. That's why these wingnut chain e-mails seem to draw more of them out of the woodwork.

So what in the story said this man was brown skinned? Why is it wrong to wish that illegal aliens (no matter country of origin) who murder police officers are killed? The murderers name was Angilo Freeland. Freeland isn't exactly ethnic sounding. He was from Antigua and was a hitman for the drug cartel. Its not hate, it's justice.

The whole concocted story was meant to further incite the hatred of "illegal aliens" by claiming that one killed a cop.

The story is fake and is pure right-wing propaganda. It's pretty obvious too to folks who aren't blinded by racial hatred.

The story I posted through Snopes made no mention of the guy being an illegal alien. That was a new twist inserted into the chain e-mail as KK and 4Salt intimated.

Having worn a badge for two years, I echo the sentiments of the good Sheriff. Shoot until you are out'a bullets. They did miss the guy 42 times, so he had his chance.

I just googled the story, and except for the part abouthim being illegal and the coroners comment, the story is true. I think most strongly dislike illegal aliens because they are ILLEGAL, not because they are racists. Left wingers just bring up race just to try to discredit those against illegals. Honestly, I dislike Canadian illegals more. What of value ever came from Canada? There maybe one or two thongs I'm not aware of. I mean at least from Mexico we got Selma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, and tequila.

No Hank, the best solution is to legalize all the drugs that currently comprize the illegal drug trade and put the drug cartels and DEA out of business. Instantly, all that border crime, most of which is associated with the drug trade, disappears. The only losers will be drug cartels, dealers, pushers, and LE that depends on pissing money down the rathole of the useless "war on drugs". Winners will be those who are going to use drugs whether they are legal or not. They get cheap or reasonably priced drugs of good quality. And then there's the rest of us who win by not wasting our tax dollars on this useless quest, and just maybe we won't have our homes and cars ripped off by drug addicts anymore to buy their expensive drugs.

F'n stupid drug laws anyway, all harm and no good comes from them.
