Everyone getting a pup should have a travel Kennel/crate.
Crate training is easy and a win Win WIN deal for both dog and owner.
when done rite your pups will sleep in them with the door open because they are secure and comfortable in them. I shouldn't let anyone take home a pup without one.

be careful when hauling dogs in the back of pickups. I am not talking about them jumping out but asphyxiation. Bros buddy lost a pup in a crate in the back of his truck to fumes. Not saying don't do it but just cracking the back window on the wrong rig can kill a dog.

when i got my chocolate the kennel asked if i wanted them to start kennel trainning him i had never had a kennel trained dog so i said ok will never have another dog that is not.

also anyone needs a puppy size kennel we still have the one our dog flew to us in. if anyone needs one its just collecting dust. and is good as to big of kennel with a pup and thell pick a corner to be there bathroom.

I camped with two of the new puppy owners this weekend. They are both excited.
We had a couple of dogs in camp and in the db's. All worked out really well.
Kaiser is good with other dogs. Mine was slapping him in the face with his tail....no prob. Talking about Kaiser the dog here....not his owner.

Yeah, both of the dogs were on good behavior this weekend. I was impressed at how well Chase hung around without destroying anything. He just kind of bounced back and forth between camps and was always listening for his name to be called. For 1.5 years, he looked pretty calm in the boat.

Kaiser had a great time riding in the back of the boat and soaking in some sunshine although I'm sure he is enjoying a full day of sleep at home today.

Happy B-Day, Tony. thumbs

Chase was even calm when I rammed that boulder. He was sitting though. Front seaters should take note....
