After hearing about the SUV parked in Times Square wih explosive onboard and a certain group trying to take credit for this, why is our government allowing people from the counties that produce a high volume of terrorist to live in our country? My wife is Japanese and quite a few of her relatives spent time in the camps during WWII.

I believe Mayor Bloomberg and NYC authorities have stated that there is no reason to believe this recent incident has the markings of al-CIA-duh, the Taliban, or any other middle eastern boogeymen despite some off hand claim of responsibility by a Pakistani Taliban group.

If you think about it,......if you are trying to recruit illiterate goat farmers to your cause in taking down the western world why would you lay claim to an amateur hour fireworks bomb attempt that killed or injured absolutely no one? I'd probably leave that one off the resume.

Interestingly enough, the report of that claim of responsibility came from SITE intelligence. The same Pentagon funded intelligence group known to be an arm of the Israeli Mossad and the same group that brought us many of the now discredited Bin Laden tapes.

Obama's Chief of Staff enlisted and fought with the IDF. You don't get much harder on the terrorifs than those fellas.

Since Obama has taken office the war in Afghanistan has been escalated, hundreds (if not thousands) of civilians have been killed by predator drone strikes in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and open threats have been made to obliterate Iran. Oh yeah,.....and we're still in Iraq,......indefinately.

Obama's foreign policy is Bush Light without all the stupid cowboy rhetoric covered over by a slick smile and a smooth teleprompter delivery. Which, IMO, is much more dangerous and sinister.

If you pair radical actions with the term "god", bombs are going to happen, especially when you have self proclaimed "splinter cells" that finally feel that they are doing something of some importance (I aint talking Afghani peeps here, I am talking about Americans).

When you have a nation that is divided, you will have those that blame the opposition for everything and vise versa... yep, you guessed it, they may use bombs.

Political unrest can result in fat guys in tri-corn hats gathering in groups or the smug opposition that live by the assumption that they are more intelligent than others. These guys go nuts and make bombs too.

Stlhead, My wife and her family has been in this country long before you were born! The point I was trying to get across but went completely over your head, was that at that time the resident Japanese in this country were locked away for it was feared that they were suspected ememy. Now we have people from the Middle East living amongst us and nobody knows for sure who the terrorist is. Does this make more sense to you or do you need further explanation?
