Well, was pretty slow really... Managed 4 bites and 1 native to the boat.. 2 fish stripped the herring, bastages.... Seen about 15 caught for 100 boats...

Pretty silly for this time of year....

Back to the 470K, haaaaaaa.........

Friend went out today. Four rods, three bites and one fish in the boat. They should be here by now.

I'm going out Sat. but not real hopeful.

I too am headed out on Saturday for my first try this year.

I am hopeful and going with a real PFA.

Come on Uncle, 3 bites when fishing Springers is a good day!

But, I'm hopin' they show before the 18th. As usual, the fish
will wait till the 19th.

My brain does not work to visualize that anatomic relationship. Foil hats, I get, non symmetric non anatomic positions always make me check my scope twice.

If you use the graph for Bonneville and Spring Chinook Adults you get a better picture of how far below the ten year curve we are..Better be a big April at this point..

Well after yesterday's 4 bites, we were back at it again this morning...

On the water at 7am, landed first native at 7:13am, 3rd native american fish for the boat this year... But, 3rd pass of the morning paid dividends.... Finally, hatchery fish....... We seen 6 caught out of 125+ boats by 8:45 when we left, that counted our 3....

Gotta say though, 470K is looking to be a pipe dream......

Caught my first upriver dink friday.

Water temperature was 46 F.

Slipped out after work today, best takedown of the year so far.. Second pass of the trip...... Didn't even pump the rod, just flattened it......



I can't wait for that mytical motherload to show........
