I believe the problem people have with this is the taxpayers have to pay for it. The health care plan alone is going to be an expensive endeavor and by encouraging people to quit their day job, she is encouraging the use but not the fiscal responsibility of this program.

Nancy Pelosi is NOT pandering to Welfare recipients... nor is she advocating people quit their jobs so they can receive free government healthcare. WHY would she? She has absolutely NOTHING to gain by doing so... and as I hope you realize, politicians at that level don't do ANYTHING that doesn't benefit them in some way. It makes NO rational sense at all.

As far as knowing people who... yeah, in the cases where I do 'know a lot of people who', I mention it, as I have FAR more faith in my personal observations and experience with this exact subject than the majority of the information that is out there.
