I was watching the dam cam the last 10 minutes and was pretty amazed at the numbers, at one point there were 7 on the screen!

Good luck gang, I'm off to kill a turkey tomorrow!

I have a buddy down at cathlamet, and he got his limit but didn't mention the 100 fish on at once..... It has been much slower down there than up river. Plenty of fish around, but they just are not biting as well.... I go there to avoid the freak show...... The limit is one fish for crying out loud! smile

I left the dam camera on the laptop for several hours today and multiple times I saw them swimming the wrong direction.

I'm thinking that I might just try to become a guide next year. I've been searching for a boat and this one is peaking my interest (it's loaded). Buoy 10 might be a stretch but it just might work for the lower river on calm days when the traffic isn't bad.

Guide boat

I really hope you guys coon them this weekend!

I'm beginning to think I'm converising with a jackass here...

Jut a FYI, I could give a flying [censored] how many people are on a river or any given location...

Back to discussions.........

Camp Piscatorial Pursuits shaved a few off the potential numbers these past few days. I'm amazed there's a green label herring left in the region. I didn't see red hot fishing anywhere the past three days, but I did see enough chrome that I have to wear sunglasses indoors and out for the next few days.

Jacks, indicating mid run, are showing Cathlamet area. Good time to shut things down for a while. 2cents

yesterday friend and I got into one of the best bites I have seen so far this year. We hooked 6 and landed 3 at high slack. when we took out at fred's we were the only ones bringing in fish from the Columbia. all the others she had check came from the Willamette. lucky timing......

Be curious how the numbers ended up, heard terminal fisherys might have set records for the 4/15th opener and might need to be shut down again..New compliance/ mortality tests were secretly being done on the sports, maybe the nude volley ball game was all state employees.. rofl

Looks like an estimated 4,000 fish for the netters in the terminal fisheries on their opener.....
