So I get to get out of town next weekend and I was looking for some insight as to some good water here on the westside. Don't really have the time or gas to travel Montana or even Yakima.

I haven't wet a bug in my home waters for a long time and am just looking for some troutskies and I don't need the weekend crowds on the Cow and stuff.

The Snoqualmie has quite a few smaller trout, spent a lot of time as a kid flyfishing the north and middle forks. Nothing big but every now and then you'd pick up a 12 incher. Elk hair caddis was the go to dry fly, never fished lures, bait was only for the suckers and white fish.

The Cow has some nice trout and the camping is free. Just bring your own honey bucket.
