Dad's selling his wood boat. It's a cool little classic wood boat - dripping with NW tradition.

Wood "Poulsbo Boat" built in 1940’s or 50’s by Ronald Young. This boat was restored in Port Townsend in 2001. During restoration, an aft cabin was added using a Nelson Zimmer design.

Also included is a custom canvas for the open forward section of deck – made in Port Townsend by Inger Rankin in 2003. Forest green canvas attaches to the cabin and runs to the bow with a ventilation panel at the bow. Canvas looks great and keeps the deck clean/dry should you wish to keep the boat moored or in storage.

Power: 2002 9.9 hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboard (very low hours) is mounted inside the cabin in the motor well. Yamaha controls and wheel for the outboard are mounted outside the cabin door, as seen in the picture.

Boat is located near Port Townsend (Port Hadlock) and comes with a trailer that is street legal with good tires and lights, but the trailer is old. Please call 360-301-2988 with questions or to arrange a time to view the boat. Additionally, questions can be emailed to djdodd@cablespeed.com

Cool little boat!

Thanks Andy for posting the picture.

It's great for mooching and jigging in puget sound. Handles our inside waters like a dream, just can't be in a hurry to get somewhere. (Top speed is around 8 knots.)

The picture is from the boat show. It's not usually stored in the salt.
