Vanity Fair Article Calls Hunting Claims Into Question

NEW YORK -- It's one of Sarah Palin's claims to fame -- her reputation as a moose and caribou hunter.

But a magazine article published this week is challenging those claims.

Citing an unnamed longtime friend of the Palins, Vanity Fair's Michael Gross wrote the whole hunting thing is a big farce.

"That woman has never hunted," the friend said in the article. "The picture of her with the caribou she says she shot? She got out of the RV to pose for a picture. She never helps with the fishing either. It's all a joke."

Palin shot back on Sean Hannity's radio show.

"Impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them," she said.

The 18-page piece also cites unnamed sources in alleging Palin is a terrible tipper and has a bad temper.

"As soon as she enters her property and the door closes, even the insects in that house cringe," one friend said. "She has a horrible temper, but she has gotten away with it because she is a pretty woman."

I don't care if she hunts or not, I like that cartoon of naked Palin with the gunstock wedged in her ****.

You'll probably either love it or hate it but the article is a pretty good read.

I could care less about Sarah Palin, one way or the other, but that story left me feeling, in a word, sad. I realize it's a slanted, politically-charged piece, and so should probably be taken with a grain of salt, but it sure paints a nasty picture of how those who strive for power and prominence will alienate everything that was once dear to them in the process.

She's just another sell-out and a quitter. She was asked by her fellow citizens of Alaska to lead them and she sold them out to make a lot of dough selling a book she didn't write and being a cheerleader for the Twentypercenters.

She, Beck and the other hatemongers will eventually fade away just like Hearst and McCarthy.

Although...I don't watch daytime TV, since it's for shut-ins, the feeble elderly, and the unemployably stupid, so I have no idea what people like that are saying during their broadcasts.

She's been on the hunt for Russia for a while now. She knows she's getting close, cuz she can see it from land there in Alaska.

I would think that at least she might know what end of the gun those nasty little lead things come out of. As opposed to our commander in chief.

It's amazing to me how much more Sarah Palin means to the left than she does to the right.

I don't think that's true at all...but even if it were, she means a completely different thing to those on the left who care about her than those on the right do...those on the right actually think she's not as dumb as a box of rocks, and those on the left actually hope she runs for office, any office, repeatedly...because she really is dumb as a box of rocks.
