Oh sure.................laugh it up. The funny thing is, no matter how bad Jake blows, he'll make more in his first year in the work force than all of you have made in your lifetimes.........combined. Sad, isn't it? And he probably won't show up on your job site next week and clown you about it because he's a classy kid. And the Coogers in the group can just go set yourselves on fire. The Coogs lost to SMU and you're shooting off your pieholes about UW getting throttled by Nebraska? Why? Oh, that's right..............because you're Coogers, and that's the kind of stupid sh!t Coogers do. No. I'm not riled up about that loss at all.

Well Dan looks like the Huskies Downer Decade continues, 2001 sure seems like a long time ago, isn't that the last year they had a winning season? As a life long Beaver fan, and Alum, I can honestly say I feel your pain. Now get back in the cellar, it ain't over yet.

I'm just glad I picked this weekend to hit Sekiu, and thre fishin was good Otherwise, I can relate to Dans comments to a tee... Sounds like we started off ok but either they were stronger and wore us out or our game plan couldnt keep up. Either way I hope it now fires them up for this week. We need it.... As for heisman awards ... who gives a fuk. Look how many of them are gone from the NFL is 2-3 years ... Jake wont need a heisman to become the Seahawks next qb No offense Chuck but if Carroll picks Locker next year I officially quit watching football. If he was smart he'd pick up Mallet from Arkansas.

Lost the core of the D, the ML, during practice, and one wonders if that hand injury for Locker last week effected him or was it just National TV nerves. His worse performance by far.

Things you should have learned last week if you are smart:
1) Jake Locker is a world class athlete and really a below average college Q much less a NFL Q..."now starting in Left Field for the Tacoma Rainiers, JAAAKKKEEE Lockeerrr!!"
2) ASU is WAY better than predicted, wont click every game this year but with 21 underclassmen starting the future looks GOOD.
3) Oregon has the #1 ranked O and the #1 ranked D in the NATION...dont remember ever seeing that stat a month into the season. ASU will give em a game at home but Oregon could easily be the best team in the country.
4) WSU is a freaking high school team. SMU had lost 37 straight games to D1 opponents and throttled the Cougs. They are easily the worst D1 team in the nation.
5) As Beavs will find out this weekend BSU is one of the 4 best teams in the country. Problem is it looks like 4-6 teams could run the table this year and there is no way you can say BSU makes the top 2 under current BS college system.
Arizona, as much as I hate to say it,will be the only Pac team to give Oregon a run for the Roses...
Until College football gets a PLAYOFF, it will always be 2nd tier to the NFL.
GO DEVILS!!!!

1) Jake Locker is a world class athlete.
Everyone agrees then.
2) ASU is WAY better than predicted.
Or Wisconsin is worse than predicted. Judging by ASU's schedule every year the latter is most likely true.
3) Oregon has the #1 ranked O and the #1 ranked D in the NATION.
Against nobody. Should never be #1 anything unless you play the big boys.
4) WSU is a freaking high school team.
If you flunk out of high school you go to WSU for more high school.
5) As Beavs will find out this weekend BSU is one of the 4 best teams in the country.
BSU should never ever be considered for a national championship unless they decide to get a big boys schedule and get rid of the gimmick blue field.
Arizona, as much as I hate to say it, OWNS ASU!

Locker has never been an accurate passer. That's why I had to laugh all summer when they were talking about him as a Heisman candidate. Not to jump on the kid but he has never had touch or accuracy when passing. Class act no doubt but #1 draft pick?
They probably looked good in the spring game because that defense is about as good as Lindsay Lohans' when someone slides the mirror and straw across the table.

"Locker has never been an accurate passer."
Not true. For the most part receivers had the dropsies in the past.

When you overthrow or underthrow the ball 3 yards either way on a consistent basis then it doesn't mattere what the receivers do. I've been watching them long enough to know that isn't accuracy.

Hate to say it but have to agree with ya here.
Third or Fouth rounder tops. Wntrrun hit the nail on the head,.... he never was an accurate passer.
UW should have made him a tailback two years ago.
The kid's got class and I'm rooting for him. No way is he an upper echelon NFL QB.

My two brothers have had this Jake Locker nut hugger thing going on since he commited to UW. They think he is the second coming of Peyton Manning for Christ's sake. I've been saying Locker won't do [censored] in the NFL for the last three years. He just doesn't have an NFL game.

BYU QB rating: 123.36 syracuse: 180.23 Nebraska: 46.32
Looks like one bad game to me.
Through his junior season, ranks No. 6 on the UW career passing yardage list with 5,374 yards, No. 5 in career attempts (815), No. 6 in completions (435), and tied for No. 3 in touchdown passes (36) (and he missed 3/4 of a season and remember the game he went out with the neck injury)
2009 3,188 yards of total offense ranked second in UW history and led the Pac-10 Conference.
2008 injured
2007 Named the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year. Set UW record for passing yards by a freshman 2,062 and touchdown passes by a freshman (14).

"Leaf at least won some games."
Something Pullman has rarely seen. That was the mistake with Leaf's overrating. The QB's that came before were just that bad.

Put a QB in the HOF, then pop off.
