Heading up there this weekend for a two day float, heard the fish are in the system. No escapement numbers posted yet, wondering if anyone is having any luck.

Bonus clam diggin weekend too!

i drove over to the hatchery to take a look yesterday, i've never seen so many snaggers stacked up in the drift above the hatchery intake before. must have been 40 guys, shoulder to shoulder 2 feet apart over there. unreal.

i couldn't see any fish on the bank, and no rollers either.

what really makes me scratch my head is why all these guys showed up after the 1st(when the bait ban was lifted) when none of them use bait anyway.

rofl

Ahhhh to be in the mind of a snagger. They seem to wait for the weekends as well. Friday the bank I was on seemed to be reserved for those who choose to actually fish. Was good to see.

SM, flows are more like summer time right now at 400cfs. If we get some rain this week they may be all right. Hump blows out quick though, so don't pray for too much. grin

Fished it last year on a Friday and it was sweet, rained all night long and the river was completly blown out the next morning.

The DB is ready, eggs curing and new jigs tied. I'm ready to lose the crowds at the mouth of the creek. Floating it Sat/Sun, hope some fish squeeze by the nets.

Tally, maybe. I'll be in a black and white River Wolf, my co-hearts in crime will be in a green Lavro.

Hoping the weather is good, and the fishing great. Good luck to you.

Friday for me grin
Hope it comes up. The boy isn't that strong. Hate pushing the boat by myself.
If it's really good I might go back over for Saturday.

I did.
Got it last November and I've been enjoying it since.
Not that much black paint left on it!
My son thinks it's the best purchase I've ever made.

Didnt see much down in tide water moving.. talked to a boat and he said he only saw a couple fish in the deep holes.. they'll come next good rain if there going to come at all..

Nice...I like that boat rowed it more then a few days....Seen it sitting anchored a few times with plugs out and it looked like boat was empty only to find when I floated by Justin and company sleeping on the floor.... grin Fishy boat for sure....

Anyone heard how much rain the coast will be getting, last year the river was blown out after a heavy overnight rain.

Heading up Friday but re-thinking the plans.

Any thoughts, concerns!

Thanks Seastrike, this is what I have been looking for.

Unfortantely against my better judgement the group still wants to head out for fishing. Based on the forecast the river will be blown out by Sat morning.

Hope not, weather predictions have been wrong before.

I'm going Friday and Saturday. I've got a couple of backup plans for Saturday.
I figure the river will look very different those two days. Looking at the graph it could use some water.

Always have a backup plan, hoping to float it at least one of the days, heading down Friday and back home on Monday.

NO FISH, yeah that looks familiar.
