I just got a call from a guy that is needing to sell
a Yamaha 115 as the owner died. I'm gonna buy it and
will want to sell my 100 hp Yamaha. If anyone is interested to
see the 100 run before I am able to get the 115 it needs
to be done shortly.

It is a prop motor but I also have
a jet pump for it. I have used the
pump one time and it works good.

No idea on the hours but it's not a guide motor and
is well cared for.

It will have remote linkage as I would like
to keep the tiller if the 100 tiller will fit the new 115.

If not tiller will go with motor.

I will post price as soon as I get the new motor as
right now I have no clue to it's worth.

I can't get pictures the right size for posting them
here so I will be able to email a picture as soon
as I get the 115 on my boat and get it running. I will
have a price figured by then too!

If the 115 deal falls through I am keeping the 100
forever.

Picked up the 115 Yamaha last night and will start installing tonight, I hope.

The 100 is a tad heavy for the transom of my 16' Lund, so I'm gonna' let this offer pass. But the brief passing thought of going freeway speed in my little boat was a rush!

Ya it is. I am pretty sure it will push my 20' Predator at around 38 mph.

Hope to get it off of my boat tonight. Then I will be ready to try to sell. I thinking $4,000 for motor with prop, jet pump and a few other things I have for it. I think it weighs 380 pounds.

We work evenings on this as my helper with the shop has a day job.

What year is your 115? Id be interested in it.

The 115 is going on my boat and I'm gonna sell the 100.

Hope to have the 115 on the boat tonight but we don't start working on it until 7:30ish. If things go well it will be running tomorrow night.

Got the 115 installed today and got her all hooked up. It's been sitting for a couple of years and it
started right up but there is a little rattle somewhere so I'm gonna take it to a Yamaha
shop and see if the rattle is normal or something like a valve/lifter stuck???? I can't hear it but my
buddy that did all the wiring said it's there and I had better have it looked at.

Then if this weather clears up soon it's time for a ride to see it run.

Maybe have the 100 on the sale block by the end of the week or next or if the 115 has a real
problem I will have to go back to the 100 for a while.

Today I checked at U.S. Marine boat shop in Olympia and Paul says it is worth from $4,000. to $5,000.

I will ask $4,000.00. I'm thinking 3,000 for the motor and 1,000 for the pump.
No trades and cash will work for me.

I have it on a stand and can show almost any time in Aberdeen.
