Weird story Very sorry for teh hiker's family.

That's a weird one, all right. Been posted before, however.

My mistake.....I wasn't referring to this goat...I was thinking (debatable) that this was the falling goat that wiped out a hiker not long ago. Sorry Dogfish.

Heard it gored him in the femoral artery. Bet that hurt. Bled out before the airlift could get to him. Shitty day for his family.

I heard about that aggressive goat near Hurricane Ridge last year. Who'd a thunk their life could be endangered by a mountain goat? I see them almost every time I hike up Mt. Elinor. Then what are the odds that a goat would gore a guy's femoral artery? Bad luck for sure. Sympathy to his family.

I moved out here in 1992. We spent a week in Glacier Nat'l Park.
We asked a Ranger where to go to get away from people and catch fish.
He sent us up 4000 ft to a lake. We get up to our camping spot and set up camp. My buddy takes a leak on the outskirts of camp. Within minutes about 30 goats showed up. The two biggest goats then head butted each other for about 10 minutes. The winner got to lick up the pee.
When the pee was gone all the goats surrounded us like they wanted more.
Now you have two dudes from Chicago in their tent with sticks poking at the goats to go away and the goats chewing on our tent.
Scary then....funny now.
