You can't forget all the mule deer bucks he saw last year. He jumped a whole herd. They were all like 170"+ B&C points and weighed at least 300lbs a piece.

Interestingly enough,he didn't manage to kill any of them.

Why go to AK. for a 70lbs. king? I've guided there longer then you've been alive and have only seen 1, you've caught/seen 3 WA. 70's.

I don't think it's a coincidence that the ability to hit that peak early is directly and inversely correlated with the age of the poster...

Kenai?

I fish about 700-750 miles south of there, apples & oranges. I've seen a couple hundred 50-68lbs kings, just 1 that was over 70.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you actually ever see a 70, you'll crap your under-roo's! Just my $.02 worth.

Why do I look at this thread?

My wild ass guess is that Kingfever's WA 70 is about the size of an Orygun 20. Whadaya' think?

Dang, I wish I had seen this thread sooner. Too much good stuff. I have tooken a lot of photos of 90 lb chinook, but they were so big they strained my lens and the photos were ruined.
