I would like to fish {C&R} for Browns in What. to King county, any lakes with good fighters? I tried the one on Oak Harbor, nice fish. Know of any lakes across the boarder?

Pass lake and Cranberry Lake both have browns in them. Pass is in Skagit co. and Cranberry is in Island Co. Jim S.

If you mean by "across the border" in Canada, I doubt there is anything much there. I review the literature and websites on BC extensively. I've found no mention of ANY lakes or streams in BC with Browns.
But then with Gerard strain Rainbows, who needs them. Tougher than nails and bigger than your wildest dreams.

I know this is south but Mineral has some huge browns in it. I read an article that said people were landing 5-12lb browns. That would be a kicker.

Green Lake, yes, Green Lake in Seattle has browns. It also has some Atlantic salmon ( I caught an 8lb 6 oz fish one day, complete with spaghetti tag), Tiger Musky, carp, bullhead catfish, and on and on and on.

Pass Lake has 'em, but the last time I fished there, all I caught was rainbows.
