Wow, what a great trip. Hopefully some of the underwater pictures I took of those barracudas and stingrays turn out. Unfortunately I was out of film when the 6 foot long shark swam by me. Not that I was waiting around to take a picture! Anyway, I'm downloading my 170 pieces of e-mail now and hope to get the site updated in the next few days.

Last I heard it was 50 and windy in Orlando. Looks like we got out in just the nick of time. Had some nice weather but not as good as I had been hoping for. Not too many string bikinis observed (of course, with the Mrs at my side rubber necking was kept to a minimum!)

String bikinis? I thought you weren't there to go fishing? Glad you had a good trip. Welcome back. Still haven't caught a steelhead yet. Working on it though.

Welcome back Mike. We also retunred from a great trip to Costa Rica. Spent time on the Pacific coast on the Osa Peninsula. Small plane from San Jose, 30 minute Land Rover ride through creeks / rivers, then a 45 minute boat ride to our base camp. Interesting down there, time has not meaning - not good when you are expecting a flight at a dirt strip airport in the middle of nowhere!

Costa Rica sounds great too. I know what you mean amount time taking on a different meaning. It's true and does take a bit of getting used to. As our tour guide said, "We have two speeds - slow and stop".
Can't wait to go back!
