I am not that sad about the game. It sucks that the season is over for the Hawks but it sure exceeded my wildest expectations. I was worried about our QB and we got one that could be a legend so ZERO complaints from me.

The only teams I like are the Nawks, 49ers, and sort of Denver so I guess I can at least give a crap about next weekend. It would be nice if in the SB the 49ers stomp the Pats cuz I am so tired of their show.

Next year the Hawks may start to garner some respect from outside the PNW. Doubtful, but it might happen if they keep up what they have going for them now.

Russ wasnt the 3rd overall, he was 3rd round 75th overall... when he was sitting there, i was screaming at the top of my lungs to snatch him up when we did... pretty much everyone that was involved called me an idiot, that we should go after a lineman or something...

one thing for sure, the NFC West is gonna be STACKED this next season... AZ is a QB away from bein in it too, and with Flynn probably not staying, you never know...

I had a bad feeling about this game with Clemmons being out. The 'Hawks had a good season and I think next year will be better.

redhook if the draft were today russ would be the third overall pick catch my drift. The browns would have taken russ in a heartbeat and there season would have been much different. Yes he was the 75th but should have been the 3rd.

i was gonna say something about that earlier... you can really see now how much Clem has an impact on this team... that play when Gonzo caught the ball for the FG, we rushed Winston Guy, the safety, that should have been in coverage... if Clemmons was in, we wouldnt have needed to do that likely... Gonzalez is one of the greatest to play the game tho, so you never know, with that play....

but Clemmons has a HUGE impact on our defensive gameplay, as you all saw...

to think 3 seasons ago Seattle won the division at 7-9 and to see where seattle and the whinners are now is pretty amazing!!!!

Not bad for our divison being called the worst in football this preseason. Our divison allowed the fewest points out of them all as well. Seahawks also the only team it win all of its home games.

Irvin is a pass rusher, not a run stopper... and stopping Turner is hard enough.... whoever thought Bruce would be ok, hasnt been paying attention... without CLemmons, cut his sack total by 2/3rds for the season...

The Seahawks need to capitalize on their clear homefield advantage. They lost three games to medicore teams by 11 points, by 4 to Detroit, 4 to Arizona and 3 to Miami. If they would have won any of those, the Hawks would have won the division, had a bye and homefield advantage. They lost the playoffs in the regular season.

The long distance wildcard thing never works, just too far to the east coast. Make them come here, make them spend hours on an airplane, make them deal with the 12th Man and its Super Bowl!.

We did that when we were the number 1 seed and the 6th seed Steelers beat us in the super bowl. Last year the giants were a number 4 seed. We had a team that could have won it this year. we were a top 6 team and barley lost today we could have been one of the top 4 teams left. This was almost as hard of a loss as that super bowl loss. We had a lot of momentum going into the super bowl run and just barley fell short. I agree tho on the traveling part

On TV Steve Raible was talking about Wilsons salary for the next season. He said Wilson's rookie contract provides an income of only 526K for next season. Obviously he is worth far more than that. Raible also said the NFL rules say that a rookies contract cant be changed for three years. Doesnt make any sense. There must be some way around that. Maybe the NFL gives waivers or something. The guy should be maklng millions. We need to keep him happy!

i read it was 545k, either way its not enough... RG3 singed a 4 year 21 million dollar contract before he even played a down in the NFL... Luck signed a 4 year 22 million dollar contract before he ever played in teh NFL...

and Wilson did better than both of em....
