I know plenty of older folks, (probly older than you chuck) that have tatts from times of war or prison and they don't look too bad.
I don't have any tatts and don't really plan on gettn any unless it is a fish or a hook or somthin cuz I figure if you get a tat it should be somthing that represents your life, a hook through the shoulder blade or a nice brookie of steelie I think would be coo, but idk
As far as tramp stamps........id rather look at skin than some ex boyfriends name or a gay tribal flame or some lame "ed hardy" style sparrow haha

Nothing like lots of body graffiti especially when the trend changes to no ink.

I think you should get a tattoo of something cooler than fishing.
Get a tattoo that stands for something that makes women want to bone.
I've never had a tattoo speak to my soul until I saw a young father holding one of his brood in the kiddie pool at the Great Wolf Lodge. He had the following slogan on the top and bottom of his pimply scrawny back:
"GET MONEY
F%CK BITCHES"
Poetry.

Here's my Boat Ho Stamp: Fortunately, the surgeon was able to put the knife scars (not pictured here) ABOVE the fish. Here's the original art-work that the tat was based off of. I commissioned the artist to paint a watercolor for me. He does good work.

You're in good company Seastrike, ole Rocket Red brings his "A" game to every thread LOL. I'm much funnier on the internet than in person. In regards to the early winter fishing on the Nooch. It is a shell of what it used to be. 6 years ago, this time of year the lower river was pretty much plugged with small hatchery brats, which followed on the tail of a smattering of early 3-salt fish. I believe they stopped or reduced both of those plants.
