Can you believe that she was within a 3% shift of the popular vote from being the VP of our country? How is this POSSIBLE?

Because there is a large segment of our society who will vote in direct contradiction to their own well-being, and take their cues, voting and otherwise, from talking heads...instead of using their own heads.

It occurs to me that JENNY McCARTHY is another qualified candidate for the dumbest person alive... Her recent continued 'steadfast support' for the anti-vaccine movement even in light of the discrediting of the key study they've used to prop up their tinfoil hats for some time...

It appears a lot of folks (both men and women) want a hot looking woman who has decent communications skills to tell them what to believe.

Sure seems to me like this is personal opinion...So because it isnt what you believe its wrong? Maybe in your eyes but others it may not be.....

Then you tell me if you think it's responsible to be using your celebrity to encourage OTHER PEOPLE to put their children at risk for significant disease. NOBODY is saying all vaccines are good, or that vaccines we all know are elective (flu shots) should be mandatory.

What I am saying, and what ANYONE who studies this with any seriousness agrees with, is that those who preach anti-vaccine voodoo on the basis that it causes autism in children are doing massive harm to the individuals that listen to them, and to public health in general.

I think there are fine discussions to be had about *some* of the more commonly given vaccines, but to encourage people to skip DPT, MMR, Hep-B and a handful of others, that's borderline CRIMINAL to me.
