The only problem with Thompson is that we have a pretty physical team, and if they put a body on him and knock him around a bit, it'll knock him off his game...that'd be my UW game plan, at least for the start of the game.
Fish on...

I think it will come down to rebounding. The Cougs got schooled by Williams last week under the basket against Zona. The game plan will be to get Bryan-Ammaning and Ndiaye in foul trouble. Klay Thompson is too big to get knocked around by any of the Washington guards. Isiah Thomas is pretty quick and will be hard to guard.

As long as no one fouls out or gets hurt, it should be good game. With 4 nephews and a niece either being an alum or at WSU now and a wife, Goddaughter and nephew are either an alum or attending UW now, I'm officially on the fence.

I think the Huskies will miss 6' 3" Abdul Gaddy's size and experience in this game. Isaiah Thomas has been great since he took over for Gaddy, but he's not catching anybody by surprise in Pullman. A key might be whether Ross or Wilcox can put up double digits coming off the bench. Justin Holiday might play a major role in deciding the outcome, also. If the senior's offensive output matches his defensive effort, he could be the difference in the game.
Can't wait to see the first Husky alley-oop slam dunkaroo! That'll quiet the crowd. After the third one, they'll be applauding in Pullman...NOT!
The line is Washington by 3. That's free throws made or missed right there.

Nice win Cougars and Cougfans. Now, both WA teams need to go down to Oregon/Oregon State and run the table. See ya in Seattle.

Thompson played a terrific game... 4-9 At the foul line. Probably would've helped if had a defender in front, while shooting. Mf

I thought the Cougs D gave them a slight edge tonight. Cougs could have managed the clock a bit better. 4th quarter outside jumper with 21 on the shot clock and you've got the lead? The next one will be in the Dawg house. Should be another good one.
