If Bush gets the blame for our current economy (seeds planted before his arrival) and Clinton gets credit for the economy of the 90's, why shouldn't Bush get a little credit for shining the light of democracy in the ME? He obviously didn't do it all, but did kick over the first rock. Its kinda ironic that a guy named Zuckerberg created a tool that ended up being pretty instrumental in Eygpt's quest for freedom and democracy. smile

Bush shouldn't get any credit, especially for kicking over the first rock. Remember, he specifically said we weren't going to Iraq to bring democracy or do any sort of nation-building. We went there after the WMD that turned out not to be there. Hence, it was "Mission Accomplished" in 2 or 3 weeks. Hell Bush couldn't even find Egypt on a map, or anywhere for that matter. I'm plenty willing to give Bush full credit for both the good and the bad things he did. Quite bipartisan of me, don't you think. He gets positive points for invading Afghanistan for revenge and negative points for invading Iraq cuz Saddam tried to kill his daddy. It's that simple.

It will be very cool is this event in Egypt becomes known as the "Facebook Revolution," or something like that.
