Fishing in Mercer Slough likely is pretty good as it is a closed water, see page 98 of the new fishing regulation pamphlet. Not sure why.

There is nothing wrong with asking about a piece of water. Just make sure you check your regs before you FISH a piece of water.

The explanation I got from Bellevue Parks was that it had a high concentration of pesticide/herbicide runoff from the residential areas around it. Sure is a fishy looking piece of water.
