Is there good fishing in the Slough? Don't mean to step on anyone's toes or publicize their favorite secret spot, so I apologize in advance if I am. Feel free to e-mail me at trout70@aol.com if you don't want to speak in public (I'd tell you, but then I'd have to bonk you and all your kind...) but wouldn't mind sharing with a C&R angler. Thanks!

HSL-
Fishing in Mercer Slough likely is pretty good as it is a closed water, see page 98 of the new fishing regulation pamphlet. Not sure why.

Just think how peaceful it will be fishing all by yourself. Oh wait a minute, there will be someone there to talk to. He will be the guy that drives the green truck and wears the green outfit with a badge on it. laugh

Right on, guys. Thanks for the word. Next time I'll check the regs before I go asking about a piece o' water.

Tight lines.

There is nothing wrong with asking about a piece of water. Just make sure you check your regs before you FISH a piece of water. laugh

The explanation I got from Bellevue Parks was that it had a high concentration of pesticide/herbicide runoff from the residential areas around it. Sure is a fishy looking piece of water.
