Living in a country that touts itself as being "free", there's no other way this could have came out...the right to free speech comes along with the right to be annoying, offensive, stupid, and intolerant, right out in public in from of God and everyone...and these folks managed to do all of the above.

The good thing about freedom of speech is that when others use it to hate or say incredibly stupid stuff, the rest of us have the freedom of speech to tell them they're full of schit...it's not only your right as an American to use your free speech, I'd go so far as to say it's your duty, it's not a passive right...sometimes it's an affirmative duty to exercise it.

My bro got a talk from someone like that the day he got home from pendleton. It was because he put a marine sticker on the back of his car. He's going to afgan in june to fight under the name of the nation that feeds his family, and the families of the people protesting in that article. They wouldn't have freedom of speech if men didn't fight and die for it. Twisted people. Those protesters are cursing the folks that help this country maintain people's freedom of speech and freedom of religion. They shouldn't take that for granted. Karma will catch up to them.

As much as I dislike the decision giving these low lifes the right to do what they do, it is the correct decision. If the decision was anything but what it is then my Uncle who died on the beach at Palau, my Dad, brother, son and myself all served for no reason.

Reminds me of the guys that get in your face and say hit me, hit me, hit me. You give them what they asked for, they lay on the ground astonished, do some whimpering followed by the "I can not believe you hit me" and press charges.

A good community beatdown each time they showed up would drop thier attendance. Follow that up with some juries stating they got what they had coming. The problem with our society today is that if they did get someone to react they would sue and get millions for their "pain, suffering and emotional distress".

If it were my kids/brother/father/close friends funeral. . .. . .I have the bad feeling the I would be in jail and a bunch of "them" would be getting the quick trip to see just what their "god" has to say about the whole deal. . . .

The death of anyones loved one is no place to insert a religious/politcal view or agenda. . . . .
