He recieved 25 years for Porking little boys. should have been shot. This ass-wipe loved to volunteer at a youth fishing pond in Canby Oregon. wonder what his motivation was. He was also on local news multiple times patting himself on the back for taking vets fishing. poor guys.
Ifish erased the thread........

You can't shoot a guy real slow like the time it will take his victims to come to terms with his abuse, if they ever will. I say let this scum rot. I am sure he will have lots of new "Friends" where he is going, from what I hear there is no mercy amongst these low life's.

Child abusers have a 'real special' time in the joint. He'll be lucky if he makes it 5 years if he isn't in an isolated perv unit

I say bread and water until he dies of malnutrition. Just let him rot.

He'll be in the isolated perv unit. I hope not. The general population will know what to do with him.

Honored fishing enthusiast Mitchell Webb arrested on warrant in sex abuse case
Published: Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 5:23 PM Updated: Tuesday, July 20, 2010, 5:51 PM
A fishing enthusiast from Canby who helped introduce hundreds of children to fishing was arrested in Alaska earlier this month on an arrest warrant from Clackamas County on first-degree sodomy allegations.
Mitchell D. Webb, 46, was arrested July 9, Alaska state troopers said today. He is being held at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility, north of Anchorage, pending extradition to Oregon.
Webb, whose residence was listed as Wasilla, Alaska, had called troopers around 11:30 a.m. that day for roadside assistance. Troopers saw the outstanding warrant, dated June 23, and arrested him on an accusation of being a fugitive from justice, a spokeswoman said.
Webb faces three charges of first-degree sodomy involving a minor boy from 1997 to 2001, said Mike Regan, senior deputy district attorney for Clackamas County. Authorities knew he was in Alaska where he has family, Regan said, and Canby police alerted police there to the warrant.
Webb, who has been featured in The Oregonian, KGW and other news outlets, was a volunteer fishing instructor with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife from February 2007 to September 2009, when he resigned. He had passed a criminal check and other requirements to be a volunteer, said Fish and Wildlife spokeswoman Michelle Dennehy. She did not know the reasons for his resignation.
In 2008, Webb led an initiative between the state's fish and wildlife agency and the city of Canby to restore Canby Pond, stock it with trout and turn it into a trout fishery for youths and people with disabilities.
He wrote about the experience in a national essay contest sponsored by the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation. His entry won him an all-expenses paid trip to Miami. He was also featured in a 30-second television spot that aired on the World Fishing Network last year.
He was lauded for helping "hundreds of children catch their first fish," according to a Fish and Wildlife press release about him in February 2009, when he won the contest.
He also has hosted dozens of fishing trips for Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans in honor of his best friend, Kevin D. Davis, who died in April 2005 in Iraq.

Mitchell Webb, Canby fishing instructor who taught kids, found guilty of sexually abusing boy
Published: Monday, January 10, 2011, 3:57 PM Updated: Monday, January 10, 2011, 7:07 PM
A former Canby man who taught hundreds of children to fish was found guilty Monday on three counts of first-degree sodomy.
Mitchell Dow Webb, 47, denied that he had sex with the male victim, who was in third grade at the time.
Webb was a volunteer fishing instructor with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife from 2007 to 2009 before taking a job in Wasilla, Alaska. He gained national recognition for his efforts to convert a Canby city park pond into a place where kids and the disabled could fish for trout.
A Clackamas County jury voted 11-1 to convict Webb. He is being held without bail and will be sentenced on Thursday.
The abuse occurred at a Canby residence approximately 10 years ago. The boy did not report the crimes until 2009, after he attended a church meeting where a youth pastor urged sex-abuse victims to disclose their experiences, said Mike Regan, senior deputy district attorney.
The boy told relatives abut his encounters with Webb, who was indicted in June 2010.
Webb's attorney, Arthur Knauss, argued that the boy had numerous opportunities over the years to tell therapists about his experience with Webb.
The boy received counseling because he suffered from depression and other psychological problems.
There is no evidence or allegations that Webb had sexual contact with any other children, Regan said.

I wonder how many people CryFish bans in the next few weeks.
Prolly a great many.
I wonder how many more of those boot lickers will stick up for this guy. Nah, not like that at all. They were betrayed by this creep and I'm sure feel the same way you or I would. The cyber ground where this guy trod has been scorched, nuked.

I wonder how many more of those boot lickers will stick up for this guy. They won't ban any because they won't even allow a topic discussing this guy. A topic was started the day his sentencing was released, and the topic was nuked in about five posts.

Of course, last time I heard, she was still friends with him of Facebook. Well, I think that that statement is meaningless without evidence and good luck with that. Bottom line is this, a child was abused/betrayed and many other people where also betrayed in this creep's sphere of influence. He has be convicted and sent to prison. He has also been cyber-executed on one board and I really don't see any value in keeping the thing afloat elsewhere.

No, the bottom line is that the perverts reputation was protected by the Ifish staff, not allowing any of the sheep over there to discuss it, trying to defend the guy to the end. A lot of people have a problem with that, as they should. Sure, in every cross section of society you will have killers, rapists, etc., but defending them is f@cked up.

This whole thing really bugs me because it's all too common yet largely out of sight and out of mind. Let me share a story that hits a little close to home. http://www.westword.com/2004-05-13/news/stalking-the-bogeyman/#This is a story about a victim of child rape.... courageously told in the first person by David Holthouse. I did not know David well.... only that I always figured he was the luckiest kid in the world.... rich dad who liked to fish (mine wasn't and did not), nice motorhome for camping (we always tented it), and for a kid, he always seemed to have the finest fishing outfits money could buy, thanks to dear old dad. His perpetrator was a high school classmate. The perp and his parents were friends that we fished with, and I worked for his dad in Anchorage. Ditto for the victim's parents... fishing friends, and I also worked for his dad during my summer's off college. All those years, I never knew... until the summer of 2004 while fishing the Kenai with the victim's dad. Dad caught a beautiful 50# platinum hen king.... third year in a row that our driftboat host put us on BIG fish in the same spot. It was a moment to rejoice.... that is, until I unknowingly put my foot in my mouth saying something about the good old days fishing with mutual friends (perp's parents). "How is old **** (referring to perp's dad) these days? Do you guys still fish together?" An awkward silence loomed like the Black Plague for the rest of the day. Weeks later he shared with me the reason for the awkward moment.... and the link to the story penned by his only son. I wept. This stuff changes lives and relationships.... casualties beyond measure.
