Well, in honesty. The pics don't do the fish justice for what it's worth....

We never officially weighed the king but he was beleived to be in the low to mid 50's..... I've boated many in the 40's and this fish had them all beat. The dude in the pic is right around 6' tall and weighed 165ish at the time...

The Chum another that wasn't officially weighed but we put it in the mid 20's, would love to have tangled with him fresh out of the salt...

Good to see the rain didn't go to nuts here and the snow levels stayed fairly low. Might get the opportunity to get back out on the Big C for another round of Dingers... She's running a bit high but things cut loose for me last year on March 13th, I'm hoping the return this year follows in suit...

This fish that Vedder is holding went 38 on the lodge scale, I'd give this fish in question another 10 pounds, so my guess is 48-50.

Chums sometimes look larger than they are but this guy is really chunky. I'd give it 20-22.

I understand that fish was weighed and I'd give it an honest 40 in a guessing contest... One thing to note on the larger fish is the head size, you can't mistake it... Dave's fish has that of a 40, what an absolute beauty!

Actually the fish Dave is holding is one I caught. I thought good gawd, that's a 40, I've got to land it.

The next drop I caught one that was a foot longer, but had to release it since I was limited when I took the 38.

Dave caught an 18 pounder that was bleeding badly, so kept it as it was only the right thing to do.

A few minutes later he caught one that was so big when he got hold of it by the tail, he couldn't lift it out of the water for a picture. We didn't want to net it, since it was going to be released. It must have been over well over 50. So as usual Dave outfished me.

My apologies for going off thread.

Nearly twins.... except the head on mine is decidedly smaller.

This fish went 37.5. I'm 5'6" and about 165... just under shoulder height to the big dude standing next to me. He's crouching down so I don't look like such a damned midget ( and so we could get his head in the pic). I think he's like 6'6" and 250.

Very interesting doc.. One thing I do remember was it took 2 of us to lift the net in the boat. It was that big, I've netted quite a few mid-40's and this thing was heavy!!

It was a great memory!!
