Whats the world coming to with Easy Limits truck and Arkliers fishing gear.

One of the worst things to me is stealing and there is no reason it should happen.

Also now with Arkliers gear gone he is down a bit so my suggestion is if anyone has extra gear that is in good shape they could do without do at least a loan or give to Ark so he can get fishing again and give him time to start over with his fishing life.

I amy be in the wrong here and I know not everyone can give something but I believe theres enough of us to help him out a bit.

And EL whats the status on your truck I know you got a new one but I would like to know if they have any clues on your old one and what it looks like.

Yup, I got a new one. I should be settling with my insurance this week. Hard to believe it has been almost 30 days already. My old truck looks like my new one except it has a short cab and short bed. It is a '92 Chevy C1500 with chrome dish wheels and dark glass all the way around. In the back window there is a big white sticker that says "Got Fish?" She also has a hitch on the back and a CB antenna on the hood. I was looking around for a picture of her but I could not find one.

Thanks EL will look for it on this side of the sound. And if nothing else we can nail the idiot who stole it.

I have way to much fishing stuff for one person or three. I have some spare poles and reels if he's interested. But as for tackle, i cannot part with that. It's like a box gold to me and i cannot do with out. Unless you need Salmon gear, that i can part with.

Oh ya, BTW the license plate on the old truck was 76291-W.

I have an idea we can all pitch in and get Arklier a gift certificate to Sportco or GI Joes. That way he can buy what he needs and wants.

Hey EL great great idea.

How much can any one pitch in.

Someone that is close to sportco should be the one to get the money and get the gift cert. I would but I am out here in BFE.

So any volunteers smile

I can throw a rock and hit GI Joes from my place. Sportco is just a hop, skip, and a jump for me too.

I can go a buy a gift certificate. How are you guys going to donate to the cause? How am I going to get the gift certificate to Arklier? We can trade addresses I think.

What do you think?

EL,

I think youd make a great center man for that just need to get your addy up if you dont mind putting it on or have people who want to do it email you.

And what do you think is a fair amount, I think if enough pitch in it wouldnt be to bad for anyone.

Hey thats awesome! Good to hear it! My brother got rear-ended a month or so back, and his insurance company hardly even gave him enough for a new bumper... pretty cheap.
Good to hear you got some good money though!

Count me in Easy, I'll have to send you a money order. If that's o.k.? Considering I live up here in the stick's, that's the best I can do. I figured you could put that toward's a gift certificate. Take Care.

Carl,
I'll take some of that action. Looks like you are organizing this one. E-mail me your address and the name to write the check to.
Thanks!

Count me in as well, it may not be much but it may help. My wife is heading to Scotland for three years of Grad school, so things are a little tight right now, but I will see what I can do.
