Who is in your Final Four?

For the first time in my life I have gone straight chalk. Ohio St, Duke, Kansas, Pitt. Kansas winning.

There is alot of parity this year. Who are your upset specials?

Mine are:

Mich State into the Elite 8 - love Tom Izzo in the tournament.
Belmont over Wisconsin
Utah State over Kansas State
Richmond over Vande
Dawgs - in the Elite 8 - Is Lorenzo ever going to break through?

Either the Houston Oilers or the Houston Astros, I'm not sure.

For the Dawgs to get into the Elite 8 they'll have to get past UNC in the 2nd round.

Possible? Maybe.

Depends on which team shows up. The one that got pummeled by the Cougs late in the regular season,...... or the one that beat Arizona in the Pac-10 tourney final.

Gotta love March Madness. Best sporting event of the year, IMO.

I like Notre Dame (as much as it pains me), Pitt, UConn (Kemba Walker is insane), and Syracuse for the final four. I really wanted to give my alma mater (Texas) the nod, but I just can't do it. I know they're capable of beating any team in the country, but for some reason, they quit playing defense a couple weeks ago, and their offense relies too much on players who are notoriously trigger happy and inconsistent. I think Duke will take them down in the Sweet 16, although their first round matchup looks dangerous.

I'd like to see Washington make a deep run, but UNC in the second round is a pretty tough draw....

I'm rooting for Louisville, my stepson is good buds with Peyton Siva (point guard) They graduated the same year from Franklin. I want to see the Huskies go far too!

All the #1 seeds in the Final 4.... and Ohio St. winning it all.

Gonzaga will beat both St. Johns and BYU and make it to the sweet 16.

UW makes it to UNC second round... and that will be a good game that the dawgs actually have a shot at.

It's usually week 2 where I reach the point of losing all hope of winning any bracket contests. This year, Morehead State dashed my hopes in the opening hours. I figured Louisville to be an Elite 8 contender. I figured wrong.

Oh, well. The good news is that I can sit back and enjoy the madness from here on out.

I had the Richmond, but 3 of my main competitors in my office pool had the same pick.

My whole SE section is blown to hell. I still have Pitt down there but that is
it. F'n Zags and UCLA.

Four teams from the Big East huh? It could happen but I think the conference is way overrated...proven today by Louisville and St. Johns both going down. Last year they sent 8 and only 2 made the Sweet 16.

What a great day of college hoop! Today and tomorrow are my favorite days of the tournament. The two biggest shockers for me today were MSU losing to UCLA and how well Gonzaga looked against a good St. Johns team. Zags should be able to beat BYU.

My Final Four are: Ohio St., Kansas, UConn, and Florida...with Ohio St. cutting down the nets.

I think Marquette's got a shot at Xavier, and Memphis will be a tough win for Arizona.

I think that the first two are much more likely than the second two, but I wouldn't discount any of them.

Didn't realize I had picked four Big East teams. No science to it, and it certainly had nothing to do with my opinion on the quality of the conference. I agree that the Big East is overrated, but not by much. I probably picked those teams because a lot of 2s and 3s make the Final Four, but it's rare that more than one or two 1s make it.

Judging from the state of my brackets after last night, you should be glad your picks are different from mine.

My Oakland over Texas upset isn't looking too smart right now...
