Classic post right there Todd! thumbs You just summed up the last 8 years of PP in a nutshell.

Stam, EVERY thread was dominated by Sol back then! Don't recall the Parrot Thread...must have been on one of my many 6 month sabbaticals. Big Sticks threads were always good, the Baker Thread was classic. Ahhh....good times.

Todd,

You did cover most of the PP repeats and you summed them up well, but you forgot perhaps the most common and predictable one of all. Habitat vs. Harvest

"The salmon runs are down because of loss of habitat. No, its harvest. If the fish can't get to the river they can't spawn. Yeah, but when the headwaters are all clear-cut, the slopes wash into the streams, the streams fill up and Stam begins fly fishing. Yeah, well my dad logged every God damn tree on the whatchamacallit river and the next year they had a record run. Well, you smoke pole. Well, your mothers a transvestite. . .

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

With Toff AND Cowlitzfisherman both shooting off their pieholes in it, it was bound to be.

Yeah, but that one kind of had a serious topic...so, by definition, can't be among the Classic Threads.

f4b is dredging up all the threads that Blades started...and I'm starting to think that his entire body of work should be considered one big Classic Thread.

Blades doesn't trust girls, Blades got sprayed with pepper spray, Blades' automatic vacuum smeared dog schit all over his floor, somebody stole the hood off of Blades' car...all awesome.

Fish on...
